staying true is that the Jeep brand has always offered a
"Willys/CJ/Wrangler/" all with the same style and function of a fun
sporty vehicle for the trails, farm, beach or cruiser.
This stunning 1985 CJ7 Renegade is in remarkable shape and most
importantly it is free of the usual corrosion and decay that so
many of these fell prey to over the years. The Jeep is wearing blue
paint which shows very well. The decals are in "like new"
condition. The interior is in immaculate shape. The carpet looks
like new and the seats are in great shape. The Jeep has a full
size, rear mounted spare. The Jeep rides on 30x9.5x15 Toyo open
country all terrain tires mounted on 15" chrome wheels. The chrome
mirrors and chrome accents in the front look nearly new as well.
The 6 cylinder engine fires right up and the 5 speed manual
transmission functions as it should as well. The CJ7 has a
Tachometer mounted on the steering column and an aftermarket JVC
AM/FM cassette player. The Renegade just received a brand new Best
top soft top and has soft doors as well.
It is a striking vehicle in person and one that demands a closer
look for anyone considering a vintage CJ7. These trusty and fun
vehicles will continue to rise and the chances of finding one that
has not been eaten by the rust monster is next to impossible.
Always remember, it is much easier to buy one done then to try to
recreate one with a bad start!
