Bonneville.�
HISTORY
Bonneville models were standard equipped with�Hydra-Matic�(through
1964) or�Turbo Hydra-Matic�(1965-on)�automatic transmissions. Other
options included power steering and power brakes as well as�air
conditioning. Other popular options included power windows, power
seats, radio, cruise control, and 8-lug aluminum wheels that
included integral brake drums for improved stopping power. The
Bonneville also had more powerful standard V8 engines than other
full-sized Pontiacs including the 389�cu�in (6.4�l) or 400�cu�in
(6.6�l)�V8s�with four-barrel carburetors (power ratings of 303 to
340�hp (226 to 254�kW) depending on year) with many optional V8
offerings available including Tri-Power (three
two-barrel�carburetor) options on both the 389�cu�in (6.4�l) and
421�cu�in (6.9�l) V8s that offered up to 376�hp (280�kW) through
1966. For 1962, Pontiac also offered the 421�cu�in (6.9�l) Super
Duty with two four-barrel carburetors, rated at 405�hp (302�kW), as
a US$2,250 option (when the base Bonneville listed at US$3,349).

SPECIFICS / BUILD INFORMATION
EXTERIOR�
-Sapphire Blue paint.
-Rechromed Bumpers.
-Buffed and Polished Stainless Steel.
-Custom Top (Mercedes cloth) was restyled at the back glass window
top provide a little more of a hoodlum look then stretched over
rebuilt bows.�
-The wheels/brake drums which are OEM optional and standard on
Grand Prix are 8 lug aluminum and relined with new steel
liners.�
-8 Lug Pontiac Racing Wheels.�
INTERIOR
-Updated velour type upholstery.
�-Power seats (new motor and drives) and windows were an option and
they still work.
-Gauges all work well and the clock stops if car not driven for
long periods.
� -The dash pad is seamless and recovered.
MECHANICAL
-The 389ci stock engine was rebuilt and machined.
-018 bore and honed the last 002. with forged pistons. All of the
critical surfaces are + - .002 to insure longevity. Engine was
balanced. The exhaust seats were hardened so that today's fuel
would not promote recession and the pistons forged type.�
-Retro Edelbrock carburetor that works very nicely.�
-Rebuilt Original "Jetaway" Transmission with new clutch packs
pumps etc. and has a new torque converter.�
-Dual exhaust with a very mellow powerful sound but not
obnoxious.�
-Replaced steering box was replaced with quicker ratio so the car
behaves nicely especially around town.�
-Redone convertible top hydraulics and the fabric bows bead blasted
and powder coated. It has an electronic Pertronix ignition that
gets rid of those pesky points.
DISCLOSURE

deposit, the vehicle�will be held for�72 hours�pending final
payment. Deposits are non-refundable due to i). the vehicles are
taken off the market and we turn down other buyers during the�72
hour�period and ii). there is significant re-marketing costs
associated with relisting / remarketing our vehicles. Inspections
should�be performed prior to putting a deposit down on a
vehicle.
INSPECTIONS:
We encourage inspections. We disclose known defects and
imperfections but we are not you. Purchasing a vehicle�is very
