This is a "like new" 48 year old car that is ready to drive
anywhere. The paint is about 80% original and the rare original
vinyl top is in great condition.
I had a professional auto shop pull the original 318 cu. in. engine
and sent to an engine rebuilder. The engine was "completely"
rebuilt and then reinstalled after the engine bay had been
repainted. The shop installed a new Edelbrock 4 barrel aluminum
intake and a 600 cfm carburetor. They also installed a new
alternator, power brake booster, aluminum radiator, water pump,
hoses/belts, ujoints, and upgraded to a new electronic
ignition system. Next they installed a completely new A/C system
supplied by the Vintage Air Co. I then had 5 new tires installed.
Tires and engine both have been driven less than 500 miles. All new
exhaust pipes and mufflers.
Next I took the car to the upholstery shop and had the carpets
replaced from front to back with original style material. Next they
installed new foam and reupholstered the bucket seats. The
headliner looks new and the dash has no cracks. All of the glass is
good. Floor pans good, no rust.
