for sale. 1978 was the 25th anniversary of the Corvette. To
celebrate, a completely remodeled body was rolled out with a new
fastback style. The new wrap-around rear window provided much more
space behind the seats but it is not a hatchback car. The special
anniversary edition included a unique Charcoal Silver/Silver
Metallic two-tone paint job for an extra $399 tacked onto the
sticker price. Under the hood you'll find the owner stated original
350 CID V8 which is rated at 185 HP. Backing the engine is a 3
speed automatic transmission. Amazingly, the car is mostly original
save for an upgraded stereo system to give your ears more pleasure.
The car runs and drives beautifully and really turns heads out on
the road. This anniversary Vette is just begging to be driven.
