An Exceptional Example of the 911 Carrera
9115410066 was completed in December of 1974 in special ordered
Gemini Blue Metallic (X1) over Cinnamon Partial Leather (36)
upholstery, draped in optional equipment, such as: U.S. specs, Koni
shocks instead of Boge, Targa folding top, chrome plated parts
instead of matte black finish and Dunlop tires. It was delivered
new on February 25, 1975 to Dr. Butterworth of Indianapolis through
nearby Kline Porsche-Audi. The Carrera has resided in the Midwest
ever since (Indiana and Ohio) and is said to have had just two
owners while driven only 70,000 miles.
Under its most recent stewardship, the 911 received a complete
restoration of all mechanical systems and cosmetics, the results
are simply stunning. The Porsche performs effortlessly in all road
conditions as an absolute pleasure to drive and admire. It comes
complete with VIN matched original owner's manual in vinyl sleeve,
including the 1975 emissions book and Blaupunkt CR manual, tool
kit, 10/74 date matched spare wheel/tire, jack and both Indiana and
Ohio license plates. For the ultimate period experience, the Bosch
fog lamps, incredibly rare Blaupunkt CR radio and new Pirelli
Cinturato CN36 tires compliment. It is highly unusual to find a
mid-year Carrera restored to this level; truly a labor of love and
respect for the model. The engine bay appears immaculate, while the
interior has been nicely restored. The paint has a consistent shine
and shows well. On the underside, we see the original floors with
the original undercoat still intact. This Carrera has all the right
options, and is offered complete with original accessories and now
available for Worldwide delivery from our Houston, Texas
showroom.
