Vehicle Description
A fully-built performance restomod with a screaming 496ci
supercharged V8 is not supposed to be so affordable. But while you
think you're looking at all muscle and no brains, think again. It's
a total build takes a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 and gives it all the
right reinforcements and modern features to make this classic a
very mean machine that knows how to handle its supercar-level
power.
Plenty of these trucks are still available for work duty... but
this is not one of them. You're looking at the classic Chevy
Advance Design pickup body that has been given a truly advanced
makeover. This starts with the concrete-colored paint. It makes
this truck look tough as granite, and the clearcoat shine makes it
look like polished marble. Add to that plenty of brightwork on the
bumpers, grille, handles, and side mirrors. We could consider this
just a great modern look on a vintage pickup, but this one's
appearance says so much more. The huge 20-inch XXR wheels on a
lowered suspension give off plenty of aggression. And when you peek
in the bed, the reinforced structure where the floor should be
looks more like it's from a racecar than a hay-hauler.
Inside is more race-bred inspiration. It starts with the Summit
Street/Strip modern competition bucket seats. These sit nicely in
the reinforced cab to instantly set the tone for the whole
interior. You slip behind a Momo steering wheel with suede-style
grip. Beyond that is a full set of AutoMeter gauges, including the
very important tach. The center carries even more competition
equipment - from the start button, to the battery shut-off, to the
ratchet-style gearstick.
All these serious components will lead you to a monster under the
hood. It's a 496 cubic-inch V8. And while a big block stroker motor
is usually enough displacement for most folks, this one was also
given a 4-71 Weiand Roots supercharger. And the go-fast upgrades
don't end there. This one has been specially built with forged
pistons, steel crank, Comp Cams Big Mutha Thumper camshaft, Iron
Mercruiser heads w/roller rockers, Holley 950 CFM four-barrel
carburetor, MSD distributor, and Patriot Clipster headers. You
better believe it's a mean machine like this makes a thunderous
roar out of the dual exhaust. But more than just sound fearsome,
this one knows how to get its power to the road thanks to a strong
4L80E four-speed automatic transmission. This feeds the 12-bolt
rear with 4.11 gears for power takeoffs. And this is a total
package build. So it comes on a modified S-10 frame with Spohn
A-arms with 2" lowered springs and spindles. Plus, the rear has QA1
coilovers and a triangulated four-link suspension. You even have
upgraded Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes and the best in modern
grippy sports tires.
Complete with maintenance records and restoration photos, you know
the labor alone would cost more than this screaming restomod. So
don't delay too long or one of the best deals on speedy wheels
might be gone forever. Call today!!!
