Vehicle Description
The 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is one of the baddest-looking street
machines of all times. Of course, it's only better when it's a
real-deal factory black Mach 1, that's intimidating from its hot
red streak to its 351 V8.
This pony car started out as a mean Jade Black fastback, but there
has been a nice investment to take it up a notch. It's now dressed
in a more modern clearcoat black that has a huge shine to showcase
the '69's curvy body while still reminding you of its darker side.
In fact, take a closer look at how the glossy black paintwork is
contrasted by the matte black hood stripe and hood scoop. This
double-black appearance is a very cool presentation that instantly
gets respect no matter if it's lit by sunlight or midnight neon.
But it isn't just the dark elements that add the aggressive
attitude. The red and orange Mach 1 stripe package that runs down
the side and highlights the rear sheetmetal truly looks like it's
out for blood. Plus, hood pins, mirror-like chrome bumpers, and
iconic Mag wheels with pony center caps are bright
intimidation.
The forceful attitude continues with an all-black interior. From
the door panels, to the seats, to the center console, to the dash,
everything in this Mustang looks like midnight. Ford was also going
for a premium attitude during this time, that's why the darkness is
broken up by wood paneling on all of these surfaces, too. And also
take some time to appreciate the details. The seats look like there
has been a nice recent investment. So the materials are nice, and
the aggressive red streak across the back is bright as ever. This
is setup for real drivers with a T-bar shifter for your right hand,
and the factory-style three-spoke steering wheel for your left one.
Beyond that is a nice set of gauges to monitor the essentials. It's
the perfect iconic muscle machine setup.
The 351 cubic-inch Windsor motor looks fantastic in the engine bay
with the big blue block, matching air topper, and the Powered by
Ford valve covers all radiating power from within the dark engine
bay. And while these are great factory pieces, you can tell there
has been another investment here making the blue so bold. Another
great investment is in keeping the factory Holley performance
four-barrel carburetor in top running condition. That means this V8
fires up with a sweet roar as the dual exhaust feeds those cool
quad pipes in the rear. You'll love showing off this midnight coupe
everywhere thanks to easy driving features such as power steering
and modern BF Goodrich T/As at all four corners.
Complete with Marti Report, you're looking at a real-deal Mach 1 in
the best factory color combo, and it has all the right investments
to keep it looking that way. Correct and mean Mustangs are always
in demand, so you should hurry if you want to snatch this one up.
