1976 Triumph TR6 - Offered as an affordable, six-cylinder sports car, the first Triumph TR6 rolled off the production line in 1968 as a 1969 model. It's intended target was to rival similar sports cars at the time, and although most were designed with sleek, curved lines, the TR6 was squared off at both ends, making it stand out from it's competitors. With just a seven year production span, the TR6 grew to become a true British classic.
The example offered here today is from the final year of production and is an excellent, all original example. It has seen one repaint in its original white (code 19) color in the early 2000s. The TR6 also features its original and very complimentary beige(code 74) interior which was only offered in the last 2 years of production. Below the color matching hard top is a new black vinyl soft top that looks excellent. The best feature of this TR6 that it is very mechanically sound with no need for any immediate nor foreseen repairs. Fuel delivery, wiring, and brakes are all working as they should. Although this Triumph has only 77k miles from new and is always stored indoors, there are still the small cosmetic imperfections and signs of wear one would expect with a 41 year old unrestored vehicle.
