1951 Chevrolet Fleetline
The long, smooth lines of this slant-back body style are on full
display with this car. The body was stripped to bare metal
and has been maintained in dry condition ready for the next owner
to take this car to the next level, whatever that may be.
While the body shows some repair work that is needed, all
needed body patch panels have been acquired will be included
with the car. Most components and trim are present with the
car...it just needs the person with his or her own vision to get to
work! Whether restored to original, converted to low and
slow, or hot rodded or resto-modified, there is an extremely solid
base to work from,
The original 216 Straight Six was rebuilt and runs very smooth.
A split manifold was installed so the dual exhaust pipes
enhance the look of the car from the back angle. The "3 on
the tree" manual transmission is solid.
The interior of the car sports the original headliner, the seats
are in good condition with a likely recover at some time in the
life of the car and the dash and steering wheel are in good
condition. Overall, this is a very solid car with nothing
hidden.
