Harley-Davidson VRXSE Screamin' Eagle Destroyer Drag Bike
Harley-Davidson's first out-of-the-box drag racer. Based on their
VRSC family of motorcycles and tuned by H-D's Custom Vehicle
Operations. The Screamin' Eagle can run the quarter mile in under
10 seconds. A very limited number were produced. A few
modifications have been made to this example in terms of aesthetics
- the sail panels have been removed from the wheelie bar and the
exhaust header has been coated in black - but otherwise the bike is
as new and is in concours condition.
Powertrain Liquid-cooled 1300cc 60* V-Twin Revolution Motor, 105 mm
bore x 75 mm stroke Stroker crankshaft. High-strength ductile iron
cylinder sleeves and forged high-compression pistons. High-flow
racing cylinder heads and valve train high lift/duration cams 58 mm
throttle bodies with dyno-tuned velocity stacks. Ceramic-coated
2-into-1 header. Electric-over-air shifting 14.0:1 compression
ratio, 97 lb-ft torque at 7600 rpm, 5-speed racing transmission.
Multi-stage lock-up clutch. Features race-programmed ECM Electronic
programmable shift light, two-stage launch box linked to shift
lever and ECM single disc front brake. Solid rear struts, wheelie
bar, 530 DRZ chain final drive. Friction steering damper Braided,
coated lines and control cables.
