Seeking to position a new model as a back-to-basics mid-size
performance car to launch the 1968 model year, Plymouth paid
$50,000 to Warner Brothers - Seven Arts to use the "Road Runner"
name and likeness as well as a "beep beep" horn! High Impact colors
like "Vitamin C" were available options that year and this awesome
car wears it proudly. Sporting a 440cid/390hp V8 Six Pack, 4-Speed
A833 manual transmission and 4:10 Dana rear end, this beauty will
not disappoint. Slip into the correctly restored white interior,
grab the pistol grip shifter and get ready for take-off! Other
options include power steering, power brakes, hood mounted turn
signals and the "Carb Fresh" air package. The professional
Rotisserie body restoration was completed in 2000. The non-numbers
matching motor was replaced by an era-correct 440 block with a
production date the same month as the body! This professional build
left no detail, nut or bolt untouched and was finished in 2004. The
car has essentially been in storage since, with only 300 miles
added. This GTS (Galen's Tag Service) documented beauty is located
in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view the 1970 Road Runner in
