Vehicle Description
When luxury meets performance
The Chevrolet Silverado added a muscle car-type performance to
their popular half-ton offering in 2004. Called the Silverado SS,
the vehicle began in effort to implant the 'Super Sport' dream
truck. Silverado SS incorporated several sport-themed features. A
front end featuring unique cold air intakes, a two-inch lower ride
height and 20-inch wheels within the eye-catching Goodyear Eagle
tires.
The game changer for this truck is its high output 6.0-liter
eight-cylinder engine. Using the same LQ9 engine design found in
the Cadillac Escalade, the Silverado SS exerts a hefty 345
horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. A specially tuned
four-speed automatic transmission paired with the Silverado SS' V-8
engine designed to optimize acceleration and highway cruising
performance of the truck. For 2003 and 2004, the Silverado SS was
only offered with full-time four-wheel drive making this model a
must have.
Not only does this truck have amazing performance but its standard
features are far from basic. This pickup truck includes, dual-zone
air conditioning, keyless entry, cruise control and four-wheel disc
brakes with anti-lock braking system. Other luxurious offerings
include, power driver and passenger seating with adjustable lumbar
support. As well as cruise control, all black leather interior,
radio controls on the steering wheel and many other wonderful
features.
