1960 MERCEDES BENZ 190 SL ROADSTER
--White with Red leather interior, Red carpeting and Brown
convertible top, Exceptional Restoration, Numbers matching,

Launched at the New York International Auto Show in 1954, the 190 SL was produced from 1955 through 1963. This model quickly because a favorite of the jet set due to their elegant and sporty appearance as well at Mercedes Benz ease of use and reliability.
This 190 SL enjoyed long term ownership in Nashville, TN from almost new. It was sold once again in Nashville from one owner to a friend who was also a collector and thus continued Southern ownership for quite some time thereafter. Purchased circa 2006 by a Long Island client of ours from its long-term ownership and with what is believed to be 74,000 original miles, it was then transported to New York and used as a “summer driver” for approximately one year prior to the owner undertaking a complete and thorough 3-year no expense spared restoration by his personal mechanic.
All Cosmetic, Mechanicals, Brakes, Chassis and Interior have been restored correctly and properly with only original Mercedes Benz parts. The original Solex carburetors have been removed in favor of a Weber carburetor conversion/update.
The 190 SL has been used during Summer months only and thus used and enjoyed sparingly since restoration. This 190 SL has come to market due to the addition of a new automobile to the owner’s collection and lack of garage space.
This is a wonderful example of a 190 SL in superb structural, mechanical and cosmetic condition and which is ready for immediate road use or show.
