Up for sale in our Houston showroom is one very clean 1965 Ford
Mustang convertible is actually a 1964.5 F code. This 1964.5
Mustang is part of the first generation Ford produced from 1964
until 1969. Within the first production year more than 417,000
Mustangs were sold, setting a new record for a new model from
Detroit; not to mention creating an entire class of automobiles by
itself. These cars had sporty long hoods, along with short rear
short decks, and became the progenitor of the "Pony Car" market.
The '65 Mustang was the beginning of a market that still is going
strong today, with Camaros, Challengers, Cougars, Barracudas and
more joining the fray in the early years. This good-looking 1965
Mustang is equipped with a 260 C.I.D V8 (F-CODE) and a 3-speed
automatic transmission. The engine was recently rebuilt with about
1000 miles on it since, and its convertible top frame and top have
been rebuilt & replaced, as well. This Mustang has a nice white
exterior that is free from any major dings or dents. A few small
ones, but the car has not had much, if any, body work done to it.
The bumpers, trim, emblems, grill, & glass are in good condition.
The original wheels are in great shape and the tires have plenty of
life in them. The body panels are straight & the doors open & close
with ease. The very nice red interior is beautiful and contrasts
well against the Wimbledon white paint and really makes the car
show well. The seats are comfortable and free from tears or rips.
Door panels, dash, & carpet also show very well and look almost
new. Seatbelts for all seats in this car so grab some friends, put
the top down and go check out a movie. All this Pony Car wants to
do is cruise down the road with the top down, giving its occupants
that free feeling that is like nothing possible from a hardtop
ride. Options on this beautiful convertible Mustang include some
that are only exclusive to the F-code Mustang like the air vents &
no back up lights, also included are: AM Radio, Manual Convertible
Top, Custom Steel Wheels, Power Steering, Seat belts, Vinyl
Interior, and Radial tires. For more information on this 1965 Ford
