1969 Camaro Z28 Restomod, finished in May of 2017. This is a LS3 conversion (525 hp), 489 ft. lbs. torque. I bought this car as a "Shell" (Body & Paint were complete), car was purchased from a guy who started restoration (body and paint) and then ran out of money. When I bought the car we ripped out the entire interior, existing suspension (all the way to the subframe) and started with a clean slate. The shell originally cost me $20K, I have $50K+ in receipts in addition, so basically I am asking for an additional $20K for the labor to build it. The build took a total of 10 months. Quick Specs on the car are: These are all NEW parts with dated receipts
LS3 Swap, 525hp version, Tremec 5 Transmission, Custom built 2.5" Exhaust w/ Borla Mufflers, Hotchkis TVS (Total Vehicle Suspension) Stage 3 Suspension Kit which includes Sub-Frame Connectors, 18" Ridler Wheels, Wilwood Dynalite 13" Disc Brakes (front & back) Drilled & Slotted with 2 Piston Red Calipers, Wilwood HydroBoost Kit, Nitto NT555 Racing Tires, AC & Heater by Classic Air, Custom Interior from TMI including - Seats/Door Panels/Dash Topper, Center Console is by Modern Classics (upholstery done locally to match with raw materials from TMI), Phantom II Guages by AutoMeter, Driving Lights and Tail Lights are LED by Fesler, Window Cranks/Door Handles/Shifter & Pedals all Custom by Clayton Machine Works, Audiophile Sound with Component Speakers (Polk) and Sub (Rockford Fosgate) / Sony 2 Din Touch Screen / Bluetooth Ready / Hands Free Calling.
I have a full spreadsheet with all expenses listed plus all original receipts for any interested buyers.
Photos speak fror themselves, I have additional photos of the "build" and "before" photos for interested buyers.
Best of both worlds, the look of a bitchin 1969 Z28 Camaro with the dependability and power of a new Corvette. I would classify this car as a Driver, but a Driver that will win most any local car show. If you've not driven a LS3 Conversion, it's hard to explain. It's a fully modern car in disguise!
