Here is another of my favorite cars ever!!! a 36 year old 1981 Berlina factory built by Phillips Motor Car Corporation,in Pompano Beach, Florida, & built by hand on a brand new 1981 Chevy Corvette, & less than 100 cars were ever built.
It has the styling of the 10-15 million dollar 1936 Mercedes 540K, 2 seats with T-Tops, with dual side mounted spares with covers, all German Eagle emblems made of solid pewter, 6 real wire wheels, 5.7 liter L48 350CID V8 Vette engine with Automatic transmission.
Tilt & Telescopic steering, air conditioning & heater, 4 wheel power disc brakes, power steering, windows,locks, etc. rich dark Claret leather interior, rich frost Beige paint job, 185" long, 120" wheelbase, 72" wide, 50" high, & very solid heavy cars, daily drivers that are great highway cars & very peppy, cost $85,000. back in 1981, 36 years ago, & would cost well over $150,000 to build one today.
2 piece hood, detailed engine area, posi rear end,leather wrapped steering wheel, dual spot lights with covers, twin trumpet horns,stereo, badge bar, badges on grille,wood grain dash & consul, solid pewter gas cap cover & much more. a total steal at only $37,900.!! that's all $37,900.!! a lot of car for the bucks.
