ORIGINAL V8 AUTOMATIC TRUCK, AWESOME DRIVER RESTORATION!
Ive fallen in love with this truck because its the first one Ive
ever had like it. Very rare original automatic Custom Cab. Take a
look at the details, pictures and video:
Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Overall super straight body with
only a few minor blemishes. Paint is newer patina and done nice
from bumper to bumper. Body has very minimal rust in just a few
small spots. Outer cab corners are new.
- Interior: Original uncut dash with original
radio present! Seat has older upholstery but in very good condition
with no rips or tears.
- Glass/Windows: All new glass and
weatherstripping. Windows roll up and down. Vent windows do not
have locks on them.
- Trunk: Nice wood bed with matching wood
stepsides.
- Undercarriage: Rust free frame rails and
original floor pans. Inner cab corners have quarter size rust
hole.
- Wheels/Tires: Newer tires on offset
wheels.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: Original V8 a pulled and replaced
with newer 302 V8. Starts easily and runs out very strong. The
transmission is original Ford-o-matic and shifts flawlessly.
Steering is original and has a little play as most of these trucks
do.
- Lights/Electrical: All of the lights function
properly including original dealer installed turn signals.
Speedometer and fuel gauge work too. New electric windshield
wipers.
- Brakes: Brakes have been serviced and stop
straight and strong.
This is a really sweet truck that is totally ready for the road.
