We recently purchased this Mustang Hardtop from the previous older California owner who owned this BEAUTY since 1998, 19 years !! and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy for sure !! It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - driver's door mounted Ford data / VIN tag which is shown in a picture. At the heart of this Mustang is what appears to be the VERY STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "C" - 289 CID V8 motor that is running VERY well and also sports an ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and a BRAND NEW AutoLine carburetor. Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "W" - C4 "Cruise-O-Matic" - three speed automatic transmission which is also functioning very well. The suspension and drive line all seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior body trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging, NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front bumper, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome rear bumper and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL front grill and "Pony" emblem !! Take a look at the AWESOME - ORIGINAL - Mustang stainless steel wheel covers and BRAND NEW Michelin steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this Mustang and really retains that CLEAN - "Factory Original" look !! The Clean - Solid trunk also sports a VERY NICE Red carpet liner, a full size radial spare tire and the ORIGINAL jack and lug wrench. This Mustang Hardtop is a good investment opportunity and it is priced right ! All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. I looked underneath and also included photos below.
