Vehicle Description
This is a pristine and, at 8,260 miles, a very low mileage example
of the Ferrari F1 355 Spider. This car is in like new
condition.
The 355 Spider was penned by the Pininfarina studio and developed
by nearly 2,000 hours in the wind tunnel to create an elegantly
styled thoroughbred for the road. Many regard the 355 as one of the
most beautiful Ferrari models in recent years.
This car is one of the small numbers of 355 Spiders produced with
the F1 transmission using electrohydraulic manual paddles behind
the steering wheel.
Ferrari introduced this two seat V8 powered sports car in 1994 for
the 1995 model year. This automobile is from the last year of the
355 production. The engine is slightly larger at 3.5 liters than
its predecessor but readily generates more power from a new 5-valve
cylinder head. This engine produces 375 hp using the Bosch Motronic
engine control unit, which controls fuel injection and the ignition
system.
The car allows for two damper settings, "Comfort and Sport".
1999 was the last year of production for the 355 and this is the
last year in the series of mid-engined Ferraris with the Flying
Buttress rear windows design first seen on the 1965 Dino.
Painted in a traditional and eye-catching Ferrari Red the paint is
all original and perfect. The gorgeous Connolly leather interior is
in keeping with the pristine condition of the car. The interior is
flawless. It features power steering, power windows, power seats,
power locks, power top, power brakes and air conditioning. All work
properly as do all the dials and gauges.
The car has been serviced meticulously and is up to date. All
service records and documentation come with the car as well as the
owner's manuals. The tonneau cover is included along with the
factory car cover. The leather bound and highly prized Ferrari tool
kit is included.
This is an opportunity to own automotive excellence.
