Vehicle Description
Vehicle to be offered for Auction sale WITHOUT RESERVE and SOLD to
the highest bidder August 17th - 19th, 2017 at Russo and Steele's
17th Annual Monterey, California Auction. Please contact us for
more information. This particular 1972 Fiat 500 was imported from
Italy in 2016. It was used in the small villages of Italy as a taxi
to take people from the train station to work or home in the 70's.
After the car was imported to the U.S. it was not used as a taxi.
The car was restored in Italy before being shipped and now it is in
great condition. The engine runs properly. It is a very nice
everyday driver and is powered by a 500 c.c. two cylinder original
engine with a four-speed transmission. It has a black foldable
canvas roof and great looking black seats. This 1972 Fiat 500 is
one of the very few true first "city cars" ever produced and over a
half century ago it inspired a nation. The small displacement of
the engine will get you around town without breaking the bank. This
Fiat 500 would make a great car for anyone interested in vintage
Italian collector cars or just wants an attention grabbing piece of
history. Not only is it easy to drive, but it's also a blast to
drive. The car was restored in 2016.
