contact us for more information. The introduction of the 2011 Ford
Shelby GT350 coincided with the 45th anniversary of the original
1965 Shelby GT350. It was unveiled at the opening night gala of the
Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona in January of 2010.
The GT350 was a post-title upgrade available from Shelby. They were
fitted with a Ford Racing supercharger that produced either 525 or
624 horsepower. It offered Baer brakes in front along with a custom
Borla exhaust system and 19" Cragar wheels. For the exterior,
Shelby fitted a new front fascia, front splitter, functional hood
scoop, functional brake cooling ducts, tail light trim, rear deck
lid filler panel, and a rear fascia with center exhaust exit.
Performance White with Guardsman Blue racing stripes was the only
color combination offered for 2011 Shelby GT 350 The 2011 Ford
Shelby GT 350 offered is the 40th of 158 built as an anniversary
edition. It is fully documented and was built by Shelby American in
Las Vegas, Nevada. The original owner was the Team Shelby Pacific
Coast Director and Norcal SAAC Director and with his influence he
was to purchase the car January 10, 2010, prior to the public
introduction. The car was delivered to him at the Shelby American
Museum on May 6, 2011. It has only been driven 42,000 miles since
delivery and has been autographed by Carroll Shelby himself! The
original Ford MSRP window sticker shows drop ship delivery to
Shelby American, Las Vegas Nevada. It is arguably the most
collectible late model Shelby. The performance rivals any super car
of the era and it offers a 0-60 time in an impressive 3.5 seconds
with a top speed of 200 miles per hour. Motor Trend magazine stated
it was the fastest Mustang they had ever tested. This 2011 Shelby
624HP GT 350 is in exceptional condition and had been expertly
maintained. It features an upgraded Shelby intake and an upgraded
91 octane tune, resulting in dyno proven 725 HP (605 rear wheel
HP). It is fitted with a Tremec Magnum XL close ratio 6 speed,
aluminum driveshaft, 4-point roll bar and is a rear seat delete. It
is a multiple award winner and a stunning example of a properly
maintained GT 350 that offers exciting performance and exceptional
handling.
