Vehicle Description
A cool presentation of the ultimate icon that has some great
upgrades, and it's all for an affordable price. That's what makes
this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air irresistible.
This coupe grabs all the right attention. The white paint is a
great way to showcase all of the iconic curves and bright work of
this all-American classic. You know a Bel Air by its acres of
chrome and stainless trim, and thankfully all is present on this
coupe. It includes the wide grille and bumper package with Dagmars
as large as the headlights; the rocket trim on the hood that
signified the jet age; and the full-length body trim that ends in
the iconic bright tailfins. These are reasons why we all love the
icon, but this hardtop has something more to offer. The extra shine
of the Cragar SS wheels filling the wheel wells are also a clear
indication this classy classic has some added performance
chops.
Inside the festival of white continues. The seats, doors, dash, and
headliner have a terrific presentation that matches so nicely with
the exterior - it's almost looks like you're driving a cloud with a
bright chrome silver lining. One place that thankfully isn't white
is the carpeting. The red provides a nice contrast and also means
you don't have to worry about taking off your shoes before
entering. There are crisp, clean gauges behind the highly stylized
Bel Air steering wheel. The rest of the chrome on the dash looks
quite nice and complete. But if you look closely, you can spot some
nice upgrades. For example, the radio looks correct with its bright
knob-style appearance, but it's really a retro-style upgraded
AM/FM/cassette stereo with digital tuner. Plus, you have provisions
for cool features like power windows and air conditioning.
As the car that helped launch the small block, this Bel Air
celebrates its heritage with a 350 cubic-inch V8. It's nicely
dressed with polished components like the air topper, alternator,
and valve covers. But beyond the style is the serous performance
substance of a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake,
electronic fuel pump, and headers that add power as they contribute
to the rumble of the dual exhaust. And because a '57 Bel Air is the
ultimate car for cruising, you have all the best driving features
like power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and
front disc brakes.
An iconic classic that leaves a lasting impression is rarely this
affordable. That's why you know you have to ask fast to take it
home. Call now!
