Vehicle Description
Here we have a very nicely built 1973 Chevrolet Nova. This project
began with a super solid rust free local car with 88k original
miles on it, still running and driving. The body was already arrow
straight so very little prep work was needed before the black paint
was applied. Going for that blacked out look everything received a
deep high gloss black finish that turned out very cool and the
black paint really shows off the straight body of the car. A new
cowl induction hood was also installed. The suspension was rebuilt
with new coils. leaf spring, shocks and bushings and sub-frame
connectors were installed along with new polyurethane body
bushings. The car received all new four wheel disc brakes and is
equipped with factory power steering and factory air conditioning.
The air conditioning system has been updated with all new late
model equipment such as an R134 compressor, dryer, condenser,
lines, etc..., works great. The Nova is powered by a freshly built
GM 350 topped with an edelbrock aluminum intake, holley carb , HEI
distributor, and long tube headers (very powerful engine) and
keeping everything cool is an oversized aluminum radiator with an
electric fan. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic with a 10
bolt rear axle with 3.31 gears. The interior has been finished in
black vinyl with red stiching and custom door panels. All new
gauges have been installed along with a new sound system. The car
runs and drives excellent with a very tight and sound feel on the
road. She's blacked out, she's fast and she's turn key ready......
