Vehicle Description
Slick black, bold blue, and a ton of power - a custom build with a
serious mean appearance and the power to back it all up means this
is the 1968 Chevrolet Camaro everybody will be keeping their eyes
and ears on.
This is mean machine that instantly grabs all your attention... and
it's just the setup for the total package. The black paint has all
the right modern gloss and shine to highlight all those great
first-gen F-body curves. The double sport stripe package is an icon
for the Camaro, and it's rendered in such a radiant blue to ensure
this muscle machine is memorable day or night. It has all the right
aggressive touches for an SS, including the front air dam, cowl
induction hood, and ducktail spoiler. But there's also a lot more
to this one's appeal. The brightwork looks fantastic on everything
from the mirror-like chrome bumpers, to the delicate trim that
seems to be in all the right places. Plus, there's a great set of
15-inch shining Weld racing wheels... and have you checked out how
massive the rear ones are yet?
Inside, the comfortable gray cloth buckets seats have black piping
to nicely coordinate with the door panels, headliner, and
carpeting. But from the moment you slip behind the Grant GT sports
steering wheel (w/power steering), you instantly know this
classic's real focus is on speed. After all, those clear auxiliary
gauges and Hurst ratchet shifter are there for more than just
Sunday driving.
The big 406 cubic-inch V8 is something you'll love to show off,
because it's is a well-coordinated package that showcases some
serious performance. Dark black fender walls and the blue air
topper nicely match the exterior color scheme. Plus, the Brodix
valve covers, hi-rise performance intake, steel braided lines, and
headers have a clean-n-mean appearance. Add in more go-fast goodies
like a Holley four-barrel carburetor and MSD ignition, and you've
got a nicely enhanced big V8 power. This is mated to a stout TH400
three-speed automatic transmission that feeds a 3.91 rear end for
power takeoffs. Plus, the coilover rear end, trunk-mounted fuel
cell, and massive 20x18 rear tires are there to make sure this one
is always first off the line.
This is a street-eating Camaro with a truly memorable appearance.
