Here's a well-documented example of the Golden Age of American trucks. This 1969 GMC 1500 spent its entire life in the friendly climate of the western United States and is rust free. The exterior of the truck is finished in the factory original maroon paint. The wood bed was recently refinished and resprayed. Inside the cabin, the original saddle brown interior of the truck looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. Factory seats are flawless. No cracks on the dash. Beneath the hood, this 1500 is powered by a well-maintained Chevy 350 V8. Brand new brakes, shielded by original hubcaps, stop the truck surprisingly quickly for an almost 50-year-old truck. New radiator and gas tank were also fitted to the truck. Optional front shocks and power steering drastically improved the ride quality of this 1500 compared to previous model years.
