These late 60's-early 70's Chevy trucks have become increasingly
popular, and highly desirable over the past several years. Of
course, we love the classic looks that these trucks provide, but
what's more is perhaps it's the way they drive....At least that
would be the case with this particular truck. The drive-ability of
this truck has to be at least as good, if not better today than it
was new.
Every thing on this truck is as clean as can be. The truck starts
up and fast idles when cold, throttles down to a nice rumbling
idle, and from there you can drive this truck anywhere with
confidence in the 400 small block and well paired drive train.
The interior is very comfortable and is free of any rattles, howls,
of any other weird vibrations you may have come across in your
search for the right classic truck. The vibrant red upholstery
certainly complements the Torch Red paint nicely.
All accessories, gauges, and lights function properly as this truck
was obviously restored by someone very particular. Don't ya just
love that! The truck was disassembled down to the bare cab when
restored, and all bolts and rubber mounting hardware was
replaced.
The frame was cleaned and painted with epoxy primer before the GM
reconditioning paint was applied.
Under the hood is also very clean a tidy as is the
undercarriage.
The front suspension is dropped 2”, and the rear has 4” drop coils,
all nice components from Charley's Drop Shop.
The Step Side bed is beautiful with those oak planks and stainless
strips. Also, very nice work on those hidden latches on the
tailgate, doing away with the old chains that liked to scratch the
paint. The custom tail lights look very subtle on the truck and add
a nice touch that you wont likely see too often. This is an all
around, drive anywhere, take to a car show, cruise-in, drive all
the time (believe me, you'll want to), 1969 Chevy Truck.
