Vehicle Description
1930 Pontiac 30-307 Business Coupe For Sale in Lubbock, Texas
79424
Take a stroll down memory lane with this unrestored 1930 Pontiac
30-307 Business Coupe! This two-door coupe features a handsome
styling that is laced with classic authenticity. This Pontiac Six
Motor Car has a 6-cylider engine mated with manual transmission
that is all original and numbers matching. With less than 15,000
miles this vehicle is truly one of a kind and ready to capture the
attention of true classic enthusiasts and collectors.
This Pontiac 30-307 Business Coupe has been garage kept for most of
its life, except when on display at car shows. The dealership this
vehicle was originally purchased at is still in business and
included with the sale is the original sales receipt, owners
manual, service policy, and cancelled check used for payment. The
original warning sticker is also included which states to not drive
over 25 miles per hour for the first 500 miles as well as the
recommended tire pressure and original paint used, which was DuPont
Duco Lacquer. The paint covering the main body and sides of the
hood is the original paint. Some areas of this Pontiac have been
repainted, such as the fenders, deck lid, and top of hood. The pin
stripes had faded in certain spots, so they were also redone. The
wooden wheel spokes had some dry rot so they were sanded down to
bare wood, filled, and repainted to as near original color as
possible. The only work done to the motor includes new plugs, new
fan belt, and a kit in the carburetor. In fact, the original spring
covers are still on the car as it was shipped from the factory.
This is a very rare feature because most were removed and thrown
away during a vehicle's first service, due to servicemen not
wanting to remove and replace them. The interior is all original
with the exception of the floor cover which was torn from servicing
the battery. The battery is an Optima 6-volt Dry Cell located under
the floor boards beneath the driver's feet.
This 1930 Pontiac 30-307 Business Coupe has been in the same family
since originally purchased and it is a second owner vehicle. All
documentation of this car is included, which adds value to this
vehicle's unique and rare quality. This car has received multiple
awards, such as Best Unrestored Car at a national Pontiac meet in
Tulsa, Oklahoma with a score of 366 out of 400. Additionally it has
received three HPOF awards at regional AACA meets. The only reason
for selling such as classic jewel is due to age, as its current
owner is almost three years older than the car. Don't miss out on
this incredible opportunity to own a rare, unrestored classic that
has been truly cherished and very well-kept. Call today for more
information on how you can create lasting memories with this
award-winning Pontiac!
