Serious power in a slightly stealthy package - that's the appeal of
this 1972 Chevrolet Nova. So while others are admiring the
high-gloss shine on this pristinely painted coupe, you can drop the
hammer on the performance-built 383 V8.
Speak softly but carry a big stick. That's the impression the glossy white paint immediately gives. Plus, the straight body panels and the black pinstriping highlighting the gentle curves of the sheetmetal give this one a premium image. It will fool some into believing this is just a nicely presented Nova with its mirror-like wide chrome bumpers and compete trim. But then there are those who will recognize the blacked-out SS grille, hood vents, and American Racing wheels. And that's the true key to this classic. It's a sleeper for those not paying attention, but it rewards those who look a little deeper.
That feeling continues on the interior. The deep dark black of the seats, carpeting, dash, and door panels are the result of investing in correct replacements that were not up to standard...but all you see is a the result: a fantastic bucket seat car! Plus, we really know your eyes immediately gravitated to the desirable floor shift console. You'll slip behind the iconic NK4 sports steering wheel and look out at the cool ultra-wide speedometer. But then you also notice the correct tach to the left just as Chevy did it in the '70s. It's the perfect vintage Nova atmosphere.
When you pop the hood you can tell this is no ordinary small block V8. The clean wire and hose setup ensures everyone gets a good look at this 383 cubic-inch stroker motor. Beyond just looking powerful with the big air filter and bold Brodix valve covers, it was specially built to run fast. This includes a new Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, adjusted cam, and long tube headers that feed an intimidating Flowmaster system. While you'll love the growl of the dual exhaust, this beast is quite tame for the road. Features like power steering, three-speed automatic transmission, newer front suspension bushings, and front disc brakes give you superior control.
This Nova is shiny on the outside, comfortable on the inside, and has a big performance V8 heart... In other words, you're perfect classic is waiting for you. Call today!!!
