Up for sale we have a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Resto Mod. This
Chevelle has the upgraded wheel package, but when you get under the
hood is when you're going to truly appreciate it. In the paragraphs
to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior,
interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to
tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,
that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us
for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at
(865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start with the exterior or the Chevelle. When you walk
around it the body is straight as an arrow with good fit of the
panels. This '70 has the cowl induction hood that is working. The
body is covered in the Cortez Silver paint that's accented by Black
SS Stripes that are under the clear. You'll notice the paint has
been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine. At the time of the
resto new bumpers were installed along with a new SS pad on the
rear bumper. The other chrome like door handles and emblems were
also replaced. As for the stainless trim, it all looks good. When
you look at the glass it all looks good as well with new roof rail
seals and door fuzzies. The seals were replaced around the glass
and all the weather stripping appears to have been replace as well.
To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 20" Boyd
Wheels.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '70. On the inside, it's
done in Black which flows perfectly with the exterior. It has the
Black Vinyl Seats with buckets up front and a center console. The
console houses the stock appearing shifter handle and the 6speed
white ball. Looking at the dash you will see the instruments have
been changed to AutoMeter with a carbon fiber bezel. The column is
a tilt and has a Budnik Wheel. In the trunk the weather stripping
looks to have been replace and everything is solid with a new trunk
mat.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood
it's powered by a Iron Head 540 CI Merlin Big Block that's mated to
the Tremec Six Speed and 9" Rear End. The 540 is setup with an
Aluminum Intake and Holley Carb with a Chrome breather to match the
Chrome Valve Covers. For exhaust, it has Coated Hooker Headers with
3" Stainless exhaust and flow master mufflers. To keep it cool it
has a Four Core Radiator with dual electric fans. The Pulleys are
Aluminum with the Serpentine belt system. Under the front it has
Tubular Control Arms with Coil Over Shock and a Larger Sway Bar.
Out back it has the Boxed Track Arms with Coil Over Shocks and a
Rear Sway Bar. This Chevelle has Power Steering and has had new
ball joints and bushings installed. Also, it has Power Brakes with
Four Wheel Disc. Oh, and of course we can't forget that it also has
factory Air Condition that's been upgraded to the 134 style with a
new compressor.
We are selling this to be a Super Spot Clone. If we can help you in
