For Sale at Auction: 1941 Ford Deluxe Tudor in Owls Head , Maine

Vehicle Description

The year 1941 was a significant one for Ford: they began mounting a new, wider body onto a 114” wheelbase chassis that was 2” longer than it was in 1940. The Deluxe series was now the middle model, with only slight trim differences from the new Super Deluxe, and was priced about $50 less. The Deluxe Tudor was the second best seller for the model year, with 177,018 produced and a modest price tag of $775. This example of a 1941 Ford Deluxe Tudor was restored by well-known Ford restorer Jim Lowrey of Tilton, NH. It appears to have been restored from a good, unaltered original vehicle and according to the consignor, the quality of the restoration is of the high standard seen from the Lowrey shop. It is equipped with interested accessories such as script fog lamps, white wall tires, trim rings and center wheel trim and a heater/defroster. The engine starts easily and runs almost silently. The consignor states that this Ford drives very nicely, stops well and rides better than many new cars. Sold with a registration.
