This unmodified 1988  Jeep Cherokee Laredo is a classic example of rugged elegance and enduring performance for which the Jeep brand is known. This Laredo is a well-kept gray 4-door model equipped with a desirable 5-speed manual transmission and has just over 81,000 miles on the odometer. It is powered by a reliable 4.0L I6 engine and has been treated to a number of significant service and mechanical updates in recent years, including the replacement of the serpentine belt, engine and transmission mounts, oil seals, and shock absorbers.

The Laredo package includes features like gray plaid cloth seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows and locks, power front seats, air conditioning, and fog lights. About the model

The second generation of Jeep Cherokee was introduced for the 1984 model year. Known as the XJ, the second-generation Cherokee was a series of compact SUVs available in two or four-door variants. The XJ was offered with a range of inline-four, inline-six, and V6 engines. The Cherokee XJ has gone on to become one of the most iconic 4x4 cars. It is a highly capable on and off-road car, and features simple and timeless styling. The Cherokee XJ was used as the basis for the Jeep Comanche and was in production until 2001 in North America. Chinese versions of the XJ were built until 2014.
