I present to you 100% restored numbers matching 1966 “C” code Mustang coupe. This car has been restored to the specs of the GT350 Shelby & so we're clear this is a Tribute Shelby Mustang. This car was roadworthy but needed some serious attention. Being that we found the car rust free made it a perfect candidate for the full treatment. Minimal body work was needed after being completely stripped to the metal and was refinished in Custom Bronze color along with decal stripes.
Every piece of trim and exterior light has been replaced with Scott Drake parts for a clean fresh look. The inside has been completely redone with all new TMI interior parts including upgraded bolster style seats, door cards headliner, instrument panel and center console. Mechanically this car is absolutely perfect! With all new steering and suspension components this car handles better than Ford ever expected. Sway bar bushings, tie rods, control arms, spring, shocks ect..... all new and no expense was spared for quality parts. The Wheels and tires also have been upgraded to 17 inch Coy Wheels with a fresh set of Toyo rubber. The Brakes have been also upgraded to disc for much more reliable braking. Needless to say this car brakes and handles like a dream. You can comfortably accelerate into turns and also Brake into turns without the car getting out of shape compremising safety.
The engine which is a 302 engine block code to a 1967-1968 mustang. The engine has been refreshed and Edlebrock Performance parts were added as a matching package that includes, Brand new parts in the Short Block of the engine and the cylinder heads have new guides, seals and new valve job. The engine has aggressive camshaft, Edelbrock intake, New Edelbrock 1406 carb and New Aluminum radiator. A Strut tower brace and Monte Carlo bar were also added to strengthen the front end and its extremely noticable and tight.
