This 1970 Ford Fairlane 500 has been modified from the factory original condition. It has a highly modified 460ci V8 that has been balanced and blueprinted. Sitting on top of the Weland High rise aluminum intake is a BG 4 barrel carburetor supplying gas to the 10:1 pistons and High Lift and duration roller cam and rockers and timing chain. Other features on the engine are as follows: FORD RACING Aluminum valve covers, FORD RACING oil pan, Competition Clutch and Pressure Plate, McLeod Hydraulic throw out bearing, MSD Ignition, MSD Pro-Billet Distributor, Power Steering, Dressed up with Aluminum serpentine pulleys and brackets, FORD RACING modified shorty headers. This Ford Fairlane 500 has many features factory Fairlanes do not have like a 3' X pipe exhaust system, FATMAN suspension with 300lb chrome coil springs, Fabricated steering link, Electric fan on the Thermostat, A modified dash and instrument panel with Electronic Gauges by Autometer, Chrome Tilt steering column with NEW steering wheel, Wilwood electric fuel pump and brake master cylinder, HURST shifter. When it was restored the Torino was completely rewired using a RON FRANCIS kit. A Modified Hood, Customized grill, A NEW( justdashes.com) dash pad was installed along with a custom console before finishing the interior with Panasonic CQ-C1110U digital radio w/remote, Polished window moldings, NEW Windsheild, polished doors, Rear Window and quarter glass, Lanzar VIBE 210 amplifier along with coustic 700watt amp with JL Audio Speakers, DYNAMAT floor/firewall installation, NEW CARPET, NEW headliner, NEW visors, NEW kick panels, NEW sail panels, NEW Scuff panels, NEW rear view mirror, Custom window Cranks and handles After inside was done the outside was painted with custom PPG Red paint. The bumpers were rechromed by tri-City plating along with the Marker light and tail Light Bezels. A NEW gas tank with sending unit was installed, The front and rear quarter panels extensions were sealed with epoxy and finished
