It features the factory 327 cid V-8 engine under the hood with an automatic Powerglide transmission, both of which were completely restored in 2015. This barn-find was driven by the original owner until it was put into storage in 1991; the car remained in storage until the owner’s widow elected to sell it in 2014. This one also came equipped with a rare power top and phenomenal documentation dating back to when this vehicle emerged from the factory. This Camaro comes with its Protect-O-Plate: Furnished with all Camaro’s and was a metal plate, similar to a credit card, stamped/imprinted at the assembly plant. The plate contained DNA on the vehicle including standard and optional equipment. The plate allows you to verify the original type of engine, transmission, rear axle, exterior color, and the month the vehicle was produced. The plate was included in the warranty book and was intended to stay with the car, not the owner. When you take the car for dealer service, you presented the Protect-O-Plate to facilitate your dealer experience.Location (A)=1967 Interior colors: Code E=Black Location (B)=1967 Exterior colors: Code YY=Butternut Yellow Location (C)= VIN# Location (D)=Carburetor Source; R=Rochester Location (E)=Engine production code; T0920MM translates to T=Tonawanda, 20th day of September, MM code=327/275hp four-barrel with Powerglide automatic trans.
