For Sale: 1969 Dodge Super Bee in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee

The Mopar world just continues to grown in popularity especially when it comes to the decades that included muscle cars. These vehicles are the source at some of the most shocking auction prices in the recent years and any time you see one at a car show it always seems to be drawing a crowd. The first Dodge Super Bees were based on the Coronet and had a lot of similarities to the Plymouth Road Runner. Due to the popularity of the Road Runner the Dodge division requested a similar model and the Coronet Super Bee was created. This 1969 Super Bee is an original California car and is in excellent condition. It has been the pride and joy of the same owner for over 25 years and meticulously cared for. Always stored inside. It is painted in a Sublime Green paint which suits these Mopars well and pairs perfectly with the Black rear stripe. The car came with the optional side scoops, ram air hood and Black vinyl top which suits the car very well. Not everyone is a fan of vinyl tops but there is no doubting it looks great on this car. All of the bright work from the chrome bumpers to the stainless window trim is in great shape and all cleanly mounted in place. The car has a great stance and rolls around on Rally wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.

If your a fan of the originals then you will be happy to hear this classic still roars to life with the original numbers matching 383 335hp motor under the hood. The engine runs very strong and the car has no issues with leaks. The engine compartment has a very clean show ready appearance with the engine bay painted the body color and the motor coated in the correct Hemi Orange. Paired with the motor is a 727 automatic transmission and 2.32 rear gears. The car is also a factory power steering car and that system is functioning properly making it very comfortable to drive.

The interior is done in a Dark Green with bucket seats. The upholstery work is very clean and shows little to no signs of wear and tear. The car has the original console shifter, optional AM/FM radio and factory tick tock tachometer which incorporates a clock into the tach. The dash has been redone but has the original style components in place for that factory look. Everything works properly and the car is a joy to drive. It comes with an extra oil pan as well as the original dash.

This type of car is going to hold its value and even increase it as time goes on. Mopars have always been popular investment cars and this one you can drive and enjoy while the value rises!
