This 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo was completed in May 1979 and shipped to Eugene, Oregon where it was sold new on July 24, 1979. It was originally finished in Guards Red and fitted with a Cork Leather interior, electric sunroof, electric mirror (right), Pirelli tires and US equipment. Records on file indicate this 930 remained in Oregon until the mid 1990s and then came to California around 2005. The most recent owner (Newport Beach, CA) has owned the car for a few years and has used some of the best Porsche shops in Southern California for restoration work and maintenance. In the past few years this 930 has had a full repaint (with the glass removed), all new rubber seals, new tires, a complete gearbox rebuild, the fuel system replaced, new leather interior, a full service, reseal and tune and the ride height set to European spec and corner balanced. It runs and drives very well and passes CA smog. We believe this is an excellent opportunity to purchase an investment grade Turbo at a competitive price.
