This 1990 Ford Mustang LX Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Ford Mustang was thrown onto us in the spring of 1964 and was instantly America's car. People, young and old, men and women, rich and poor everyone loved the pony car. They loved it show much that Ford has continuously produced the car for over 50 years now. It went through a rough patch that most enthusiasts do not like to mention but in 1979 that would all change. The Mustang would release the first rendition of its "Fox body" Mustang. These early runs were off the Fox platform which was initially developed for the Fairmont, a much bigger car. It was not until 83 did Ford finally listened to the people and a convertible model was offered. This 90 LX is of a 3rd rendition Fox body especially with its ultra low mileage. The red paint is in excellent condition and shows very nicely and is believed to be original to the car. The black cloth top goes up and down with no signs of wear it fits the car nicely. Under the hood that classic 5.0 engine sounds as good as the day it left Detroit. The classic T5 handles the 300 FTLB of torque without a hitch. The 3.35 gear gives you a great highway RPM while still giving you plenty down low. The original ten whole wheels are in excellent condition and give the car a true sleeper look. With a clean car history available upon request and the values on these steadily climbing I can't see this one hanging around long. .
