Vehicle Description
1955 Chevrolet Pickup - Very Rare Longbed
This is a beautiful and very rare and unmodified, 1955 2nd Series 3100 long-bed pickup. Please forgive my poor quality amateur photos. It was restored about 12 years ago. The 235 c.i. engine was rebuilt and balanced with only 1000 miles currently on it. It has the granny 4-speed manual transmission. The truck runs perfectly. It is restored to original style; no modifications. Lots of very nice chrome. Too many new replacement parts to list; from all new glass to electrical to wheel rims to...(you name it). All systems (fuel, electrical, engine, transmission, etc.) were restored to original working specs. It purrs like it should. It's a very beautiful ground up restoration. All painted body and frame parts were sandblasted and finished prior to assembly like original. Included is a box of new and original extras. About 55 thousand dollars in receipts says it all. It has been garaged for years unused. It will need a new set of Bias-Ply tires to replace the current generic radial type used during garaging (these old style front ends require standard bias-ply tires only). Payment upon pickup in Grass Valley, California, zipcode 95949.
