While we love our original cars this black Oldsmobile was WAY too cool not to take it in. With a 455ci V8, a rebuilt turbo 350 tranny, A/C, an amazing paint job, new power top, and off the chart wheels, this 442 W-30 tribute was built by someone who really took their time. Approaching this car youll likely notice the chrome 20 wheels on all four corners. They really make a bold statement against the amazing liquid black finish. The panels are arrow straight that alone is a heck of a feat. The panel gaps show workmanship that's head and shoulders above what you'll find on other cars. The air induction hood looks great especially when coupled with bold white stripes and chrome hood pins. All of the lights were upgraded to LEDs and GM OEM Xenon headlights. All exterior trim is either new or finely refinished, and all the chrome pieces look excellent. Inside youll find the car is loaded with bucket seats, center console, air conditioning, power windows, combination tach and clock, tilt & power steering, and power locks which make driving a pleasure. Like the outside everything in here is refreshed or new, and is in nearly perfect condition. Under the hood is a rebuilt 455ci power plant, bored out to .030, with a big list of goodies. The trans is a rebuilt Turbo 350 with a 2500 stall converter in front of a rebuilt 3.42 axle with new style Eaton POSI. Stainless lines and hardware were used everywhere. An Edelbrock Performer intake greatly improved torque while a Holley Street Avenger carb provides fuel. The stainless MagnFlow exhaust, with X pipe, lets all those horses breath nicely. The Pertronix Ignitor ignition senses start-up and develops more energy for quicker easier starting. Just a twist of the key and it runs great with plenty of power! Although this car was built as a tribute to the Original W-30 convertibles (which are valued around $130k) this car was built to show drive and enjoy!
