They even wrote a song about it in the 60's. This was the car that claims to have "started" the muscle car war. When these started to show up on the Saturday night stop lights, people wondered what it was that was showing them nothing but the tail lights and just how could they get there hands on one. The fit and finish on this car is absolutely second to none. The Montero Red on this car is absolutely miles deep. It looks like you could stick your arm in it and come out red. Now, you should need a drool bib once you open the hood on this beauty. You are going to see the original 389 motor that has been upgraded with aluminum heads and dual quads sitting on top of it. For the purists out there, we have the original heads, and the original tri-power is boxed up and in the trunk. There has been a very nice aluminum radiator installed to help keep things extra cool as well. This car is very well equipped with power steering and power brakes, and has had vintage air added to it as well, but looks like it was born that way. This car has never been put on a dyno, but we are here to tell you that this baby has a nice rumble to it, and would still eat up most things on the Saturday night stop lights in your town. All of this power is mated to a 5 speed transmission, so now you have all this power to have fun with and be able to drive it on the highway as well and not pass everything but a gas station.
Okay, so we are sure at this point that you just have to get in and get ready to make this goat run. Once you open up that drivers door you are going to sit in one of the most comfortable seats of any muscle car. Everything in this car has been re done and you are not going to find a rip or tear in the seats, dash, or headliner anywhere. Like we said before, this car was not born with A/C, but as you will see in the pics, the dash controls look like they were born that way on the car. There is also an awesome stereo in this car so if you want you can listen to your favorite tunes as you haul down the road in this sweet ride. Who knows, maybe play, "Little GTO".
