Vehicle Description
This is a beautifully restored and documented Chevelle SS and is a superb example of a classic Chevelle.
This car has a numbers matching 'CTX' coded 350hp L34 396ci V8 mated to a 4-Speed manual Muncie, with a 3.31:1 positraction rear axle and 12 bolt housing. Both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt. The air cleaner has two snorkels which is not seen very often; the rest of the engine and engine bay are extremely clean.
The finish of the interior is excellent with a black vinyl bench seat, factory tach, factory AM radio in the dash as well as a CD Player hidden in the glove box. The body of the car is covered in a unique factory correct Black Cherry metallic with white stripes. The vinyl top is new and in excellent condition, chrome trim is in excellent condition, and lights and lenses are all in excellent condition. The underside of the car is very clean; rockers, fenders, and frame are solid.
The wheels have been changed to newer wheels that are a twist on the original wheels; they have a nice dish and the look of the original wheel but are slightly bigger. This car also has Hotchkiss Suspension components including lowering springs. This is a gorgeous car in a factory color not seen very often on Chevelles.
