FMC is proud to offer this all original, 69500 mile 1972 Dodge Challenger. it is not often that a 44 year old classic car comes up for sale. The condition of this car is incredible. All body panels and floors are original with original stampings clearly visible. The factory color of Top Banana Yellow (FY1) has been beautifully refinished. Everything else on this car is original. The body and frame have never had rust and remains 100% rust free today. Body panels line up beautifully. The white vinyl top is original to the car. Chrome and trim are in great shape with no pitting and no dings.
The interior is is also 100% original. All gauges, speedometer and odometer are crystal clear and work perfectly. The odometer reads 69500 which we believe is actual. A quick look at this car is all it would take for you to realize the same. Every single item and feature on this car works as it did when it left the factory. That includes the factory AM radio, wipers, heater, signals (including fender lights), interior and exterior lighting etc… Even the key light works. All windows roll up and down easily. Power steering came from the factory. The dash pad is crack free. Clean white seats are in excellent condition although the drivers seat does have some splitting at the seams (as shown) due to age.
The smooth running matching numbers 318ci engine is an absolute pleasure to run & drive. She starts instantly, shifts smoothly and drives straight and true with no noises or rattling at all. The engine is extremely clean. Dual master cylinder makes stopping easy and safe. Brakes are 4 wheel drum. Tires are better than 85% on Rallye wheels. The dual exhaust was recently replaced.
