A Very Nice Ride!
• Paint and Chrome
During restoration, this Mustang was the recipient of a high-quality color-change respray. The body is free of dents or dings and the paint has very few chips.
The chrome trim is in very good condition, and all of the windows are in good condition and operate correctly.
The rear window is clear and free from discoloration.
As would be expected with such a high-quality restoration, the body and underside of the car appear free of any apparent rust issues.
• Interior
The white vinyl interior upholstery is in good condition, and makes an excellent contrast with the red exterior.
The dash pad is in excellent condition. All of the engine/systems monitoring gauges (temperature, amp, fuel and oil pressure) appear to be working properly. Similarly, the speedometer works, as do all of the safety equipment (lights, horn, wipers, seat belts, etc.).
• Engine
The car’s replacement 302 V-8 is strong and peppy. The engine starts right up and runs well, providing all the thrill that these “pony” convertibles are famous for.
• Transmission
The three-speed automatic transmission operates smoothly, making driving in traffic a breeze.
• Rear End/Brakes/Wheels/Tires
This car has power front disc brakes that stop the car quickly without pulling to either side. The wheels are American Racing and are mounted with Sigma Supreme tires that look almost new.
• Comfort and Safety Features
Power steering and power brakes help turn this Pony car into a vehicle that any enthusiast will enjoy. The added roll bar offers enhanced safety as do the three-point front seatbelts.
