Currently being offered for sale is this very original, numbers matching, three owner, 107,029 mile 1937 Packard 115C 4 door sedan. Its current owner has owned it for over 36 years during which time it has been driven 27,000 miles. Over the past year it has undergone an extensive mechanical restoration at a cost of $15,000 that included a rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission, new clutch, new water pump, new radiator and all new Packard wiring. Also included in the rebuild were a new gas tank, new gas meter, and new 6 volt Optima battery. The body is very straight and wears a nice blue paint job that is nine years old. The chrome and trim have recently been re-plated and all glass is in excellent condition. The exterior is complemented by new Firestone wide white sidewall tires on the original steel wheels, Packard hub caps and chrome trim rings. Inside you will find a very clean and original beige cloth bench seat interior. The dash has all working original gauges and of note is the installation some six years ago of a 1939 Packard AM radio and clock at a cost of $2,000. Both work! All of the upholstery, door panels, headliner and carpet are in very good condition. Power comes from the original 235 CI / 100 HP inline L-Head 6 backed by a three speed manual transmission.
