This one owner 1965 Buick Electra 225 just entered our stables from the beautiful dry western town of Casper, Wyoming. Where the car was purchased new and remained until it was attained this year. It still retains its original (Nagel Motors Casper) badge on the trunk lid. The term original and unmolested with one repaint fit this car to a T. I would not hesitate getting on old Route 66 and driving this car to the west coast. Although this Buick is 51 years old it’s just entered its mechanical stride with just over 70,000 miles on this nailhead. With a total length of 225” (hence the name) this car was meant to be in direct competition with Cadillac’s Fleetwood Brougham. That is why even though it has no door frames around the windows the car still has a small center post. It has just had a new water pump installed and runs like a singer sewing machine. The paint and chrome are on par with any other very nice driver car at shows. It does have some flaws and is not perfect. The engine bay was just wiped down and not detailed to show the originality of this Buick.
