For Sale: 1933 Chevrolet EAGLE ROADSTER in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1933 Chevrolet Eagle Roadster

If your into traditional nostalgic hot rods then look no further! This really cool 1933 Chevy Eagle Roadster looks like it was plucked right off a 50's nostalgia drag strip and transported to the 21st century. From front to rear the car is packed with custom components and really puts off that old school vibe. The body and chassis is all original and all steel. The SoCal style paint suits the car well and is done in a Corvette Frost Beige and Onyx Black. This is paired with a Black removable top that is really easy to remove and put in place. The original winged hood ornament still sits proudly on the grill shell and the car still has some of the original Chevrolet badging. 1936 Ford headlights were added to the car and mounted low for a really unique look. It has a 4 piece hood in place and the side panels feature 5 louvers. A nice chrome window frame is in place and the front windshield is in good condition. Other customizations to the body include shaving the doors and hiding the gas filler behind the rear license plate. It sits on a nice set of Rodlite wheels with knock off style center caps all of which are wrapped with new Mickey Thompson tires.

Powering the car is a small block Chevrolet 350 V8 out of a 1984 El Camino. It has been modified with Oldsmobile Rocket valve covers and 3 deuce carbs for that added old school touch. The motor runs well and has a great sound through the dual exhaust that splits to 4 tips out of the rear. A new aluminum radiator was just custom built for the car and eliminates any heating issues. Paired with the engine is a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and 1955 Chevrolet rear end with 3:00 gears. The suspension consists of dual parallel leaf springs in front and rear and a Ford drop axle. Some of the components were painted Red and are exposed which give a nice contrast to the exterior paint.

On the inside of this Roadster you will find the original dash and gauges. We love our restomods but it is pretty cool to peak inside and see those original 1933 gauges still inset into a woodgrain bezel. Same goes for the steering column topped with a Woodgrain steering wheel. Dual bucket seats sit nicely in place and are adjustable and have more modern seat belts. A more modern stereo was also added and utilizes Orion speakers. There is no doubt that you won't find another car quite like this. One of the coolest parts of these custom traditional hot rods is how unique each one is and this one definitely has a lot of style. Park it next to a row of fiberglass 32 Fords and you will see why this type of hot rod has had a huge resurgence in recent years.
