Powering this 30' Ford is a touring/counter balanced Flathead 4 cylinder engine that was professionally rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago. A three speed manual transmission transfers the muscle to the stock rear end. This Model A has received an excellent restoration taking it back to the day it rolled off of Henry Ford's assembly line with a few nice upgrades included. The tail lights have been upgraded to include LED bulbs to put off a brighter glow. Also a Pitman arm has been added to make the steering function much easier. The head lights feature shields mounted at the top of light frame as well. Part of the restoration included sand blasting and repainting the wire wheels for a fresh new look. The Model A was the follow up to the massively successful Model T. It had a 4 year production run from 1927 to 1931, over 4.5 million units were produced including all body styles. Initially the Model A was only available in a few body styles and 4 standard colors. Eventually the Model A lineup grew to 9 different body styles and prices, from the roadster at $385 to the top of the line Town Car at $1,400.
