1965 Corvette Export Fuel Injected Tanker Coupe in super rare Tuxedo Black with Black interior. One of 41 tankers produced in 1965 and one of one in the fuel injected/tanker/black combination. Professional in-depth body-off restoration in show condition. These type restorations normally cost between $80,000.00 to $125,000.00. 2002 Bloomington Gold Special collection, multiple NCRS Top Flight awards, PV'd (Performance Verification), and the coveted NCRS Duntov Mark of Excellence award. Recently invited to the MCACN 2015 1st Annual Corvette Invitational Display and the Bloomington Gold Collection's 50th Anniversary Salute to the 1965 Corvette. The expenses involved in obtaining these awards could surely exceed $20,000.00. Optioned with 375 hp fuelie, M-20 4 speed, N03 36-gallon gas tank, power windows, power brakes, teakwood wheel, telescopic steering column, leather, tinted glass, 4.11 posi, F-40 special heavy duty suspension, original Kelsey knock-off wheels, original goldline tires, and original off road exhaust. Early race car life as was raced extensively before being found by ProTeam in Rally Red without radio or heater with large flares around 1997 and purchased from Southern Peru Copper Corporation, Lima, Peru South America. Documentation: appraisal from Tomas Martinez Cuajone mechanical dept. de Lima, Peru, license plate #PE D G1-1356, photos of this car in South America, registrations, bill of sale, docs from Ministerio de Transporties, old title in name of Nicolich Muller Egilio, and all recent show awards. Production date of February 18th, 1965 and delivered new for export (dealer code 1 in zone 21) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR). Recent owners include Alvin and Ronnie Steinman and the John Justo collection. Other owners included Gerald Kloos Struckle and Egilio Muller Nicolich of South America.
