These days, with the popularity of motorcycles on the rise, it's not hard to find great looking custom bikes. But how many of those customs actually have a perfect combination of proven dependability and jaw-dropping curb appeal that'll provide years of happy ownership? I mean, you can always go out and find some pieced together beater that was built by the president of your local Jesse James fan club. Or you can walk in to our showroom and fire up this sweet Road King Classic that features a proven V-twin engine, a modern 5-speed transmission, and a whole roster of high quality parts that were designed, fabricated and assembled by one company. Proven, sorted and ready to hit the road, this super clean 2-wheeler is an exercise in bare-knuckle Americana. And if you're one of the many riders who likes to spend more time enjoying your bike than working on it, it's just your style!

APPEARANCE

Originally introduced in 1941, Harley-Davidson's FL tourer line runs the gamut from Knucklehead antiques all the way to modern Softails. Thanks to a smooth combination of Sinister Blue and Diamond Ice paint, this classy FLHRCI Road King features a mature and substantial appearance. At the front of its frame, the good vibes start with a monochromatic fender that flows past a conservative rake to a traditional fuel tank. Simple and classically shaped, that attractive tank, equipped with a factory console, breaks perfectly in to a wide, Harley-branded saddle. That saddle leads a small passenger's seat and leather-lined bags over a second fender that's fitted with chrome-braced taillights. And overall, this cruiser features cool, virtually timeless aesthetics that are sure to age just as well as their high quality components allow.

ACCESSORIES

Designed and built to mix retro visuals with today's best technology, there are plenty of rider-friendly features that make owning this hog a very pleasant experience. Up front, fat chopsticks prop a tall windshield between raised handlebars, visored headlamps, Harley-Davidson accessory grips and polished handles that jerk a Harley-Davidson brake system. Between those brakes, accessory pedals and accessory pegs front polished Screaming Eagle pipes that let the whole neighborhood know you've arrived in style. And below those pipes, forward-mounted controls let the rider kick back, stretch his or her legs and chase the sun.

SUSPENSION

Beneath this Road King's attractive facade, Harley-Davidson engineers took their time crafting a rigid frame that's capable of handling the rigors of extended cruising. All of the chassis' electrical components are artfully hidden to ensure a premium appearance and excellent fit and finish. Harley's slick suspension is great at ensuring hours of pleasant traveling. That ride comes courtesy of traditional wire wheels, which spin original Dunlop Touring whitewalls. And naturally, the bike's steering and maneuverability is specifically tuned in a way that creates a unique riding experience for each individual.

DRIVETRAIN

Widely considered the best motorcycle engine ever made, Harley's legendary V-twin is the powerplant of choice for even the most extreme customs. So it's only fitting that this awesome Road King boasts a 92 cubic inch V-Twin engine that turns 67 horsepower into an excellent riding experience. Better in almost every way than the Evolution it succeeded, that storied Twin Cam 88 features much improved drivability thanks to optional fuel injection. And behind the top-notch motor, a 5-speed transmission allows a 102 MPH top speed.

There's a definite difference between even the nicest homemade 2-wheeler and a bike like this. Every piece of this motorcycle adds to both its awesome curb appeal and amazing street prowess, and there is simply NO WAY a build like this could be executed by anyone other than a major manufacturer. What's better: Harley-Davidson is still going strong, so you're virtually guaranteed factory support for years to come. Looking for a nice bike that's fully sorted and ready to enjoy? This Road King Classic is your ticket to freedom!
