Volkswagen Super Beetle, 1973 restored to original condition,
not customized!
The bug has an original sunroof, and the few (not original)
features I added are the headlight visors, aluminum running boards,
and the cloth and vinyl combination interior.
It is in running and driving condition.
It is powered with the larger 1600cc AH 60hp engine and manual
transmission.
I restored it approx. 15 years ago. I gave it a new interior,and
fully restored the body, with new belly pans, fenders, and
suspension parts.
I cleaned up and painted the engine, I did not do any major work at
the engine, only gave it new plugs, wires, coil, carburator,
etc.
It was stored inside a heated building most of the time.
It has some scratches and paint overspray, and a few other things
that could use attention (Mostly storage issues). I didn't put many
miles on the beetle since I restored it.
